Update on Emma

I haven't had my camera because I lent it to my work. I am sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. Here's what's new in Emma's world.

Poor thing has a bad cold and we have been in and out of the doctor's office for a week now. It's just an ordinary virus so, it has to run it's course. But, needless to say, she has been VERY fussy!

Emma has three teeth now. She bites down hard if she can get you! I also gave her a few finger foods last night and I am going to be posting video that soon. I knew she was ready because she was in her exersaucer and trying to clammer to get out of it while I was eating my sandwich. I gave her a few bites of bread and she loved it!

She is doing pretty good with her sippy cup. I had to try a few different types and then wait a while for her to finally get the hang of it. Now, she doesn't mind it and she likes her apple juice.

Emma Plays On The Floor

I was doing laundry today and had my piles going in the floor. While I wasn't looking, guess who crawled over and decided to eat some laundry? Guess what she decided to eat...my underwear! Ugh!

Emma Gets Koda

I took Emma to the mall today just to get her and I out of the house a little bit. We went to several stores and I figured it was about time that Emma had a teddy bear that she can be her "special bear." I went to the Disney store and we picked out Koda. He is a character from the movie, Brother Bear. Of course, I think Emma wants a brother so it is a perfect match!! I gave it to her in the store and she just latched onto him immediately. Now, he goes everywhere with us and she sleeps with him at night.

I Want To Remember Today

Today, Emma and I were playing in her room on the floor. I bent down on all fours and buried my face in the carpet like she does. She was laying on her back next to me. The sunlight was shining on her face. She rolled over and grabbed my shoulder with her hand and leaned in to give me one wet smack on the face. I love her so much!
